To reject patient-blaming. And to stand up against it when I see it.
To see the whole patient.
To respect the courage of those who give me feedback, even if it’s uncomfortable.
To fight Big Pharma, Big Insurer, and Big WhatElse with and for my patients.
To take care of myself.
To not let pride, profit, or power contaminate the heart I was born with.
To be the same human in the exam rooms as I am outside the exam rooms.
